The rosettes of Sempervivum 'King George' are a mid green towards the centre and red towards the edges. They change colour during the seasons, generally turning a darker red as the summer progresses. Tufts of white cilia at the leaf tips and along the leaf edges give an attractive, soft appearance to the rosettes. They may produce pink starry flowers in the summer.
Grow in a sunny position in well drained soil.
Suitable for alpine containers, troughs, rock gardens, scree beds, crevice garden, alpine house.
